We will be discussing "World
Without End" by Ken Follett on May 15 at 7 pm. Although "World
Without End" is a sequel to "Pillars of the Earth", it is not
necessary to read both. We are giving you plenty of time to
obtain, read, and enjoy this highly acclaimed book. Hope you

DEAN'S PHONE NUMBERS

Pastor K. Dean Myers joined us October 15th. He will be helping
us through our time of change and transition for the arrival of
our new Pastor. He is available to help in any way. You can

DEE'S FOOD PANTRY
This past year, Dee’s Food Pantry
served 264 families consisting of
540 adults and 476 children. This
compares to last year’s report which
shows the pantry served 129
families, of which 485 were adults
and 410 were children. This
mission is working and
thanks to our volunteers
who keep it going, we are filling
some physical needs. You too can be
part of that "volunteer group" by
helping fill our food pantry. Now
that cold weather is near and it is
the time of year when people are in
most need due to the high cost of
utility bills and other
seasonal costs, we are
asking the members of the church to
help towards filling the pantry. We
generally run short of peanut
butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce,
spaghetti, cereal, boxed potatoes,
pasta, and additional items such as
paper products, canned fruit,
vegetables and soup. Many thanks and

the cookbooks at the office for the modest price of $10.00. Get
"em while they last!
We also have beautiful crystal
sun catchers, made by glass artist Gary Ferguson, etched with
the angel of Revelation 11:15, taken from the stained glass
window in our sanctuary. They are only $25.00 while they last.

DOWN TO SLEEP
Our 25th
Anniversary mission project is off and running. We have already
placed our first four beds. There is a thank you note on the
bulletin board from two of the kids. Dean McGormley was right.
It is a joy to go in and set up the beds and watch the faces of
the kids! You really want to sign up for this one. And, oh yes,
we will be needing some more money!
